Chapt. 1: The "accident"

--Hello Beyblader Peeps!

Want to know how I got into beyblade? I was walking out from my bedroom, and my sibling was watching a Cartoon Network show. I never saw him watching before, but I know now it was, I believe the early Neo Battle Battle Blader arc. A neon haired dude is what sucked me in, for some reason. Later I found myself researching this awesome looking (despite how… er... he dressed). I’ve read hate comments, some about calling him gay, which I disagree. I at least understand when people say he’s too sadistic. There’s another character on a different fandom like that, and I hate her for it. The difference is, this other character acts this way, but there’s nothing that says why, but this beyblade character does. Now, this may not connect to the Anime/Manga, but it’s my version of Kira Hayama’s story. Please Fav. and comment feedback, questions, anything. So I know people are reading this.

Enjoy

--I Do Not own Beyblade, but a couple OCs of mine appear here--

“Lexa, can I beyblade with you today?” I asked my bigger brother.

“Uh, okay, fine. If…,” Lexa started to answer turning away from me, revealing an orange dyed ponytail.

“If what?” I asked again.

It was probably the same thing Lexa wanted to change about me since forever. He bullies me because of it. Everyone bullies me because of it. I haven’t even had a match in six months. I’ve asked many times, but the answers usually a big no! I’m okay with it, I just play solo instead. You improve that way. Sounds like he’ll let me… just maybe he won’t-

“If you act like a gentleman,” Lexa finished crossing his arms, turning back, “Don’t take your purse, and… please change your clothes!”

Ugh… he did say something. Agrh...

“Change m-my clothes… but…” I stammered looking at my clothing. I was wearing a lavender underdress and a pink over shirt.

“Kira, you’re not a lady, are you? Ugh… you should act you’re gender you know? When… just when, will you get it memorized?” Lexa shrugged rubbing his red hair.

Err… my brother! Why is he like this? Yeah, I am a guy. I maybe act and look like the opposite, but I’m still a guy. I’m sick of Lexa calling me lady, girly and feminine. What’s wrong with one pink dress, and long brown hair? This is me! Err…

I replied to my brother, “Stop treating me like that! Please take me! Please! Let me be myself!”

Lexa stared at me for a minute then said, “Okay, but just this once… hurry up, and get your things! I’ve got buddies I gotta meet!”

“Okay!” I exclaimed rushing off to get my handbag from my room.

Once I got that handbag, I zipped it open, and reached inside. I pulled out a top, what looked like one anyway.

“Finally,” I breathed, “I get to use Guardian Harpy  in an actual battle. I’ve waited too long for this, I tell you!” I smiled excitedly as I carefully put back my Bey, “Soon, my friend, we’ll prove that I’m happy being who I am, and no one will tell me otherwise again! No one!”

I fled outdoors, Lexa stood waiting for me. Lexa had a straight face on as we started to walk. I clinged onto his hand, but Lexa still was sour. Heh, he needed a shot of Hot Sauce. That gets him piped up. I asked him if he had any for breakfast. Lexa says he did, an Extra, extra Hot Sauce and meat egg scramble, like me, but with no sauce. Well, I guess he’s showing his hate against me… as usual.

“So, Lexa, what park are we going to go today?” I asked Lexa, trying to pretend he was a cool brother, as we walk by our usual Bey park.

“We’re not going to a park today,” Lexa responded calmly, “We will be going to the brand new cyclone stadium.”

“Ah. Sounds even cooler,” I replied.

“Should be, my buddies should already be there in fact. You’ve meet Rocky and Izza right?” Lexa questioned.

“Of course,” I nodded, “You see them everyday. I see them here and there… you know. They are good pals. To you, but not me.”

Rocky was the blond haired boy and always wears a similar sweat jacket my brother wears. White, with long strings and a zipper. Thier pants even match too. And that Izza kid, he often is night themed in his style. Blue, yellow, black… and the other colors of the stars. His hair was a dark, in the middle of the blue value too. Both Izza and Rocky are pretty quiet, but their words to me are equally as harsh as Lexa’s.  Very harsh.

And did they greet me ever so harshly.

“Hey Lexa,” Rocky waved.

“How’re doing?” Izza asked.

Lexa told them he was doing great and gave some speech of how he was thankful for this new opportunity. It took a good five minutes for Lexa to rant how the three of them had trained bigtime. Every blader looks up to them, watch their mistakes…and plays with them too. Supposedly, Lexa hopes this will lead him, Izza and Rocky to the world. As long as they stick together they will. Hey, what about me!

Rocky was the first to notice me, after Lexa’s long talk.

He said, “Oh. Looks like you brought your little sis here today too!”

“Oh, yeah,” Izza gave a glance up at me, “Hi, Kira. Looks like you’re finally going to be like us.” Rocky chuckled, “He sure doesn’t look that way”.

“He asked me to stop treating him like I am,” Lexa explained then got in closer and whispered, “He still needs to learn to be a man.”

“HEY!” I shouted, “I heard that!”

“Like we care…” Lexa snarled, smirking grimly at his sibling.

I growled at that. No. And here I thought Lexa wouldn’t give me this. Still, I needed to prove myself.

“I’ll show you! I may be ‘girly’ and stuff, but that’s got nothing to do with who I am! Someday, I’ll be one of the strongest bladers in the nation,” I threatened racing inside the stadium.

Inside made me froze to see. There were rows of bleaches, all circled around a stadium. A type that was still currently being developed by the new WBBA. Beybladers chat about it a lot.

“Whoa…” I gasped.

“That’s the BETA Cyclone Base Stadium. Isn’t it great?” Lexa gazed at the stadium from behind me, “We’re the first three to even use it! Seeing it… I’m boiling hard.”

I turned around and realized the three did follow me in.

“Who wants to beat me first?” I asked joyfully, “I’m going to be the first Cyclone winner!”.

“Hmm,” Lexa thought out loud then got with his buddies and to help him decide.

“Okay. We’ll do a three on one battle!” Lexa determined.

Rocky asked, “You can handle that right?”

“Sure is an intermediate leveled battle, kid,” Izza informed.

“Oh, I’m a Bey Master. With my Guardian Harpy , you won’t even see your Beys get a stadium out!” I claimed.

“What a big dreamer,” Lexa scoffed,

“You know Arson Vul will burn you in a single hit! Always will.”

“Plus you have to face the nocturnal Hunt Siren!” Izza reminded.

“And the  Archer Thriae  too,” Rocky added nodding.

“They may not be the strongest Beys out there, however, we can take you down,” Lexa challenged. Rocky claimed, “We practice every day!  And we get better and better each time! We managed use a model of a stadium like this, so we know what to accept.”

“Enough bragging,” I fussed, “I want to battle!”

“Yeah, Rocky and Lexa, we must start the clash, now!” Izza agreed.

Rocky and Lexa nodded.

“So, Kira, what side do you want?” Lexa asked failing to notice I was already stepping onto to the front platform.

There was an even closer view of the breathtaking stadium.

“I love this already!” I cried out looking down.

“It’s even better higher up,” Lexa calls from as he heads for the other platform.

I looked up to see that platform was rising up. I made mine do the same by pushing a button.

“Are you ready?” Lexa asked when we we’re all high up.

“More than ever, pal!” I nodded putting my Bey in shooting position.

“You only think you got it memorized, that you’ll win. Heh, It will be me, that’s what you should get memorized!” Lexa claimed while he, Rocky and Izza stetted up their Beys and got to a launch pose.

They counted, “Three…Two…One…,”

I yelled out, “LET IT RIP!”

The next thing I saw was, of course, my Bey, surrounded by the other three’s. This is how Bey Battles always begins against these guys, well according to the few I had with them. Those were in those baby sized things though. But, this cyclone stadium, versing bigger, even more experienced dudes? Not the same thing, exactly. Man, it’s what I’d hoped for my whole life. In the past, Lexa and his two Bey buddies would always win every single match. Even days were I did fight were rare. When I did go out Blading with the three, I end up feeling so hurt afterwards. They call me a girl. I’m no girl. I may treat myself like one, so what? Those guys take it, and use it against me, thinking I’m weak. Harpy is, but I’m not. Lexa just needs to get that memorized. And this time, I will teach him so, as well as Rocky and Izza.

“This old trick again?” I laughed hard.

“It always works, Kira. Plus, we have new ones as well. However, we never actually tested these out yet, so we’re still not sure of it being a little too… dangerous. Especially since we’re not used to some odd looking rocking bowl,” Lexa enlightened.

A little too…dangerous, what did that mean? I wasn’t sure, and I was really too ignorant to ask. I needed a win.

“Watch this! It’s something that I did on my own training adventures!” I said back then spoke down to my spinning Bey, “Harpy, be sneaky!”

“Sneaky?” Izza asked looking at Lexa.

“What? Silent Harpy is now faster than Arson Vul,” Rocky observed, “How?”

“And now he’s sneaking up behind us!” Izza added looking back.

“Oh. Big deal,” Lexa sneered, “Vulis, go even faster! And block Harpy’s sneak attack!”

The two Beys clashed into each other, pushing Harpy back. Luckily my Bey continues to spin.

“Hmm,” I thought, “Looks like this is a hard challenge. I need to think up a plan…”

For starters, Arson Vulis what they call a balance type. Vulcan represents creation. Lexa… he’s actually the opposite. Vulis has a wicked fast paced at every move. All of them! It’s like a sword on fire when it attacks, and its defense is best when the Bey does a risky move, which Lexa does create himself. Finally, the Bey’s steam really comes off from the spinning, making it a huge like campfire. This fire can spread throughout putting the stadium putting that on fire. That’s a special move he calls Eternal Bonfire, he made it up to burn other’s Beys, especially mine.

The next hardest Bey would be Rocky’s.  Archer Thriae  is a defense type. You’d think the Bey’s spirit would be a bee-like figure. It was. And it defends itself by not actually taking the attack, but instead attacking the opponent by sucking by stinging its “blood” or in this case stamina. This Bey always seemed impossible to beat to me, especially when it comes to his own move: Stingy Storm That’s like, and looks like two families of bugs swarming to get a taste of you.

The Hunt Siren is equally challenging as the other two. It’s strong in stamina, so it can spin and spin forever. Almost.  I wouldn’t say it has as much stamina as a different Bey of the same type, and I trick myself to think this Bey is more effortless than Lexa’s or Rocky’s with this thought. Boy, am I always wrong. It can see where my Bey is at all times, while it takes its time to spin. It’s like a hawk looking for prey, except it’s a bird-like creature. When a Bey is far away, Izza uses a special move called Melodic Supper. Basically, it rushes to where the Bey is very fast, and clashes into it hard. This move is powerful to dodge so swiftly!

Now, my Bey… Guardian Harpy  is considered a Bey on the vulnerable side.  Even though Harpy’s speed track can go as fast as a cheetah,Arson Vulis is much faster. The amount of stamina my Bey has is not even half as much as Izza’s. And its defense is surely no stronger than Rocky’s. My only way is to attack. That’s what my bey type is. I’ve practiced and practiced for this day, only to make my attack area tougher. Oh, I think this Bey gained a lot of strength since I last battled this trio. I guarantee it!

So, who should I go for first, I wonder.

“What’s your sissy doing,” Rocky teased.

“Plotting … looks like he’s carefully doing it this time too,” Lexa studied me.

“Hm. The plot won’t work. The girl will just have to draw a big L on her forehead, for loser and lame. Heh, he’s never a challenge for Izza!” Izza told his friends then taunted, “Look, the kid is too deep in thought. Well… I guess I can to my special move now…”

Wait? Did I say… he was going to do his special move? Oh-no… I shook my head to get back in reality. If I aiming to win, I had to concentrate now! There’s no room for planning! Gulp…

“SPECIAL MOVE…MELODIC SUPPER !” Izza yelled.

Sure enough his Bey swooshes closer and closer to mine at such a fast rate. I was getting sweaty and nervous. I clenched my fists and bit my lip. This Bey had gotten a lot rapider since my last battle with it. I can’t lose this one though!

“Harpy, Look out! Run away!” I yelled.

Yes, my Bey is getting away, and at a high-speed rate. I gave out a sigh of relief.

And then looked up at I with a beam of confidence and taughted back, “Where? Oh where was that Harpy gone?”

“That’s a good question,” Izza replied in shock,

“You’ve never got away from that move, before!”

“IZZA!” Lexa warned, “The Bey is right behind yours!”

“I see now,” Izza nodded eyeing his Bey, “You can’t get away, copy what Harpy had done, but hit it Siren!”

CLASH!

Who is forced back? Izza? Heh, I called Harpy to run again, Toward Izza’s.

“Yes, you’ve got it Harpy!” I squealed in a high pitched tone.

“I’ll be the one with the L, won’t I?”  Izza asked getting nervous, “Stay back, Siren!”

CLASH!

“You can never run from me!” I cried out, “Get Siren some more, Harpy!”

CLASH!  CLASH! CLASH!

“No! Rocky! Protect me!” Izza begged his friends.

“Don’t worry, I- I’ll save you!” Rocky promised then shrieked out to his Bey, “ Thriae ! Time to make your special move! Stingy Storm”

I suddenly got frightened again watching Rocky’s Bey flying and blocking Izza’s path to protect him.  Now the flock of Beyblades were heading towards mine. Now what? Hmm…

“Harpy, swat them away! Jump over them all!” I demanded.

Would my demand work? Yes… it did!

“Huh? What?” Rocky gasped at what I had done.

“You’ve have gotten better!” Izza realized.

Indeed I have. Multiplying moves are still scary though.

“Nah… Kira is not showing any different traps. We’re the ones who'll trap him! Always will, keep the fire burning!” Lexa ordered his friends.

“Right, we need to put out your sister’s fire!” Rocky recalled,

“Fly, try the move again, this time faster!”

Faster! Ha, Harpy has learned to speed up her flights as well.

“You’ll never beat me, ever again! Nuh-uh, pal! “I assured, “Cause, I got more new techniques coming right up! Harpy go!” Super Zoom Zoom!”

Now Harpy was the fast one. It took me awhile to perfect these multi forms. Yes, it went beyond Harpy’s limit, but not too much. I was in the lead!

“Huh! Oh-no! You’re Bey… is going at an abnormal pace,” Rocky noticed.

Indeed Harpy was, it was dodging the families well. Soon, not one will be the survivor. Only the real thiraes will remain. And Siren’s path is clean.

“Sneak Attack! Aim for SIREN!” I called out.

Rocky turned to Izza and apologies to him, “I’m sorry! He wiped out the army!”

CLASH!

“No… Hunter Siren… where’s your power to hunt?” Izza started to sob.

CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!

“Ha-ha-ha, So Rocky and Izza. who’s one you call a girl now, huh?” I tormented laughing evilly, “Rocky! Use Stingy Storm one more time!” Lexa refused for Rocky, “No! Kira’s just going to use the power to push Siren into the midst of the hundreds Thriae!”

“You think?” Rocky asked his friend.

“I know. It’s too obvious. Vulis, Fire wall around Siren and Thriae!”

My brother’s Bey then goes running to the other Beys and sparks out a flame wall.

“What! How were you able to figure out my plan?” I shrieked out.

“We have the same blood, Kira. Brothers know everything. Got it memorized?” Lexa responded joyfully.

“Really, bro, isn’t that what caused me loose before? It won’t this time! Swoop Dive into Lexa’s Bey’s fire, Harpy , and SMASH his teammates!” I called out.

My Bey flew and jumps into the middle of the fire and clashes into Izza’s Bey which bumps into Rocky’s.

“Keep at it, Harpy!” I encouraged my Bey.

“Heh, you’re cute,” Lexa complimented then patented, “You can’t be! You really did grow in skill!”

CLASH... CLASH!  CLASH…CLASH CLASH…CLASH

“At least you’re not really taking damage from me,” Rocky remembered.

“But,Thriae  is the one sucking my stamina! What do we do?” Izza panicked, “We are the girly players now, Will be the ones to draw an L on our foreheads! Why, why Siren, why are you not stronger than Harpy?”

“Hmm… I guess I can give my special move another try, Lexa’s wall is trapping the three of us. None of us, especially Harpy, can escape the flames!  ” Rocky thought out loud, “Stingy Storm!”

“Can’t escape? Oh, can too!” I convinced, “Fly out, Harpy!

Sure enough, Harpy escaped without a doubt. Instead, Archer Thriae’s clones crashed into the other two Beys, and put out Vulis’s heat, but not enough to make it stop spinning, and fire wall. My strategy, that took months to lie out, is not going to fail me. Not today!

“Crush them more! Crush them! Make me prevail!” I hollered at my Bey.

CLASH… CLASH CLASH… CLASH… CLASH CLASH…

CLASH… CLASH CLASH… CLASH… CLASH CLASH…

CLASH… CLASH CLASH… CLASH… CLASH CLASH…

CLASH… CLASH CLASH… CLASH… CLASH CLASH…

“NO! Hunter Siren! You’re running out of staying power! NOOOOOOOO! No,” Izza wined watching his own Bey weaken before his own eyes.

“You’re actually losing to me, Izza!” I announced, “Now you feel my pain!”

Izza looked at his friends, with an expression I was suppose to make. Disappointment, mixed with shame… I gave him my mask. So far. Mask Izza faced me, and groaned, then whimpers.

“Please,Siren, stay strong,” Izza sobbed looking down, “Please!” Izza’s plea didn’t improve.

CLASH!

With that final clash, Siren’s spin got put to a violent stop.

“S-Siren! No!” Izza fell down at his knees and moaned,

“Lexa, Rocky, get him! She… I mean he has gotten too much more forceful!”

“It is impressive that he actually beat you,” Rocky nodded, “Who’s been helping you train like that?”

“A few acquaintances of my own, actually,” I answered boldly.

“You have no relations of the sort,” Lexa pointed out, “All you have are bullies like us!  They chuckle! They harass! Some might even dash away! I’ve seen it all!”

I gasped at what my brother said. That was a really pushing it, if you knew what I meant. Yes, it was true. I had no companions who would battle with me. Even when I invite someone to, they say no! They don’t want to play with a boy in girls’ clothing.  It is so… so… unfamiliar… and creepy for some. Therefore, I practiced, each day, solo. Still, I hear those mean laughers and names get thrown at me. But that’s what I fed on, to gain more strength and focus. Thanks to Lexa, he gave me more!

“I may be judged! But, when I demonstrate my capability to everyone, they will start to see me in a whole new way, a Beyblade champ. Everyone respects a Beyblade champ!” I told my opponents.

“Man, you’re not memorizing things. Even if you change, it doesn’t mean everyone else will treat you any different too,” Lexa shook his head. “

You’ll always be described feminine to us!”  Rocky nodded, “And your Bey, we’ll call it, Worthless Harpy!”

“You’re Worthless Harpy will BURN, BABY!” Lexa hooted, “Archer Vulis, use Burn Baby Burn!” Lexa’s Bey grew to be rapider with that move, and roasted up turning it red hot. It was racing toward Guardian Harpy … if it hit that Bey, it would be close to the end. Heh, I can stop that from happening, no problem. I’ll just use another new trick I’ve created. To level up the speed.

“Guardian Harpy , it is time to go even faster, Triple Zoom Zoom!” My Bey paced up ten levels and got away just in time.

“Lexa, Harpy is too fast! Save your energy, I’ll weaken him,” Rocky ordered.

“Yes, weaken the Bey! I don’t care how! Just do it!” Lexa agreed.

“Okay,Thriae , go high!” Rocky commanded.

The Bey shot up, far above the ground. Then, Thriae  soared back down, toward Harpy.

“Get away, Harpy!” I told the Bey.

It did. The Bey didn’t land on such a comfy spot either. Good, a lot of intensity loss. It would be impossible to repeat unluckily. I didn’t fret then though. I was doing great.

All I need to do is make Archer Thriae  chase me around the stadium until it drops out into one of the openings. But how? Rocky see will how, with one last speed upgrade.

“Guardian Harpy , Ready to double your speed? Go, Quadruple ZOOM!” I screamed.

“Kira, you’re only going to wear out your own Bey like that!” Rocky advised, “Thirae! sting him! Use every last bit of light!”

There, Rocky’s Bey is following Harpy’s lead exactly. Finally, I will defeat that dull Bey of his, and he can feel wrath with Izza! I want to see him in an mask identical to Izza’s. Looks like Rocky was starting to grow one.

“C’mon catch up to her!” Rocky said growing some frustration, “Please!”

“I’m no her,” I corrected.

“Whatever,” Rocky muttered, “Please, get nearer?”

“Are you really going too... nah… Rocky, you can do it,” Lexa cheered.

“Do it, Rocky! Get ‘em! I’m already down; don’t let Lexa’s… brother kill you off!” Izza added standing up.

“Hear them, Archer Thriae ? Listen! Friends are our power! Yours is to gain a victory! Friends help each other do that!” Rocky spoke up to his Bey.

“How very charming, Rocky… but friends are not your power! I’ve made it this far without the need of others, unlike you. Look, look at where I am now!” I admired.

“You are more passionate and convenient, but you should just let it go. We will get the prize,” Rocky swaggered softly.

“You get the prize?” I doubted, “You always get the prize. Now, it must be my turn! Harpy, keep moving!”

Rocky dropped his shame. He had hope. Yeah well, I have a bit more. I must weaken it, even if I get a million stings. No, getting stung that many times won’t do. Harpy must have strength to clash with Vulis afterwards. Maybe I should just fly from corner to corner for a while.

“This is getting boring…” Lexa yawned.

“Finish him Rocky, finish him,” Izza praised on sleepily.

The battle had gone on and on for twenty minutes. My stance was lasting five of those minutes.

“I don’t think I can… my Bey is slowing down…” Rocky swallowed.

“So is Kira’s!” Lexa pointed out.

“Yeah, but, even he’s staying just as vigorous!” Rocky was losing his hope.

“Giving up, I see. Rocky, I for once, enjoyed this very much, however, it’s about to end, now!” I said, “Rid of him, Harpy, my friend!”

And with that, my Bey slammed into Thriae , in a slick, criss-crossed quick way, like swatting a bug away r, before it got a chance to drain any of Harpy’s resistance. It slid backwards, and dropped out the stadium.

“Man,” Rocky exclaimed in disbelief, “I lost… to a girly guy…”

Rocky was feeling my feelings. One more to go.

“Lexa,” Izza turned to the last teammate standing, “Our plan, what if we don’t get a chance…”

Lexa interrupted, “Hush up, Izza! We’ll win! I’ll make sure of it!”

“’Kay, if you say so, BFF,” Izza accepted.

“I got a bunch of up-to-date ruses of scorching our competitor,” Lexa dropped his voice in a lower tone, “First I must figure out how to beat Harpy’s speed, and then we’ll have the advantage.”

“Beat my speed?” I asked my brother glaring at him with a winner’s stare, “Not possible. If your Bey goes any faster, you’d lose your spin power.”

“You’re already putting yourself at the risk with that speed. Besides, you’ll be forced to watch your Bey will break in two! Got it memorized?” Lexa said pointing to his head.

“Apparently you don’t yourself, brother. Why put yourself in a situation like that? I know that’s Vulis top era, is to take chancy moves, but still, even these will be impossible to steer clear of!” I shrugged.

“Impossible? More like possible!” Lexa disagreed before I could say my action, “This move is a one-shot, but… Arsonist Vulis, speed up way more than that, Thirteenth Speed!”

Huh? Oh-no… Lexa did beat my speed. Vulis isn’t even wobbling. Speeding up would wobble Harpy. Err...

“Whoa! You just… made that up,” Rocky grasped.

“Yup, watch this! This is going to be over in any second now… get Guardian Harpy ! Get em’!” “Wha- you actually…Err… Harpy keep flying! I’m counting on you!” I screamed.

“Ha, your Bey is too slow now, compared to Vulis’s speed! Oh, and I’m starting to blaze up, and when I blaze up, my Bey does too!” Lexa claimed.

I started to sweat again. “Blazing up” is the fuel for Eternal Bonfire! And made Lexa an person who wishes all things to burn. I’ve already got this far, I better finish. I must be the winner! I MUST! Have I already beaten Izza and Rocky.  Is it really too hopeless? No… it wasn’t… I can win this!  And I will not burn!

“All right, Kira, fight, fight, fight!” Lexa clapped sarcastically.

I started to see steam rise above him and his Bey. I was feeling wobbly. I could tell Harpy was too. He’s been cooking Vulis all along, hasn’t he. Defeating Izza and Rocky were only two extra logs. I must think of something! But what? I must use my special move! That’s what.

“Harpy, Special Move, SUMMERTIME BREEZE!” I roared.

This special move creates a lot of wind. Wind can sometimes put out fire, right? I mean, I’ve been saving energy to use this, it better work. Like Lexa had. No… it’s not! It’s rising! The flames are expanding!

“Thanks for the boost on my fire!” Lexa thanked.

“NO!” I groaned.

“I’m burning nicely…  I think I’m all cooked! Supper is ready!” Lexa smiled with a fierily look, “You’ve done well, Bro. I’ll give ya that. But, you won’t beat me! Not now, not ever!”

I choked, “Don’t do it, Lexa! Let me win this time! Please! Please!”

I begged putting my hands together. I thought I’d win. Lexa’s fire. That endless, evil fire. Not even water puts it out.

“Sorry, but this gotta end at some point right? So, let’s conclude this tale, shall we?”  Lexa requested, “Arson Vulis, special move: Eternal BONFIRE!”

“NO! I was to win THIS!”  I yelped watching the cyclone stadium catch on fire, “Try your special move again, Summertime Breeze!”

The winds were still not working! They're only making my Bey invisible, cause of the rising flames. This familiar sight. I didn’t want to see it today. I wanted to see Vulis powerless.

“NOOOOOO! NO! I WILL NOT LOOSE! I WON’T! NO WAY!” I breathed loudly.

I huffed. I trembled even more. I was going to fail! All my hard work was for nothing. How could it?

I’ve experienced enough! I’m sick of how everyone sees me! Why, can’t they accept the way I dress up myself? That’s why I needed to win! To teach everyone, anyone can do something, no matter what you see on the outside.

        CLASH! CLASH!

“Hear that? That’s the sound of Vulis’ steaming performance. Loving the steam, Sister?” Lexa was the one in power again.

“NO! I hate it! Err…” I wined, “I’m not a girl, okay!

What do I do? I want to show who I am, but I can’t. I thought I was. I will lose, again.

“Oh. Is that right, hmm… keep the good work, Vulis!” Lexa said.

“Harpy, don’t let Arson Vulis win, okay? Don’t!” I cried.

        CLASH! CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!

Rocky noticed, “Hey, look, there comes our fans!”

“What?” I asked turning my head to see a crowd of other Beybladers burst in.

Beybladers? How did they know about this? Did they come to see the first ever winner here? If I were beating Lexa, I’d be pleased. Seeing me win would make them see me in a new way. But, the bigger the audience, the more of wild side Lexa’s. He’s burning Harpy, even though they haven’t clashed yet.

“He, Lexa’s sure is to win now! GO LEXA!” Izza cheered.

“Yeah, GO LEXA! LEXA! LEXA! LEXA! LEXA! LEXA…” The audience cheered.

“Get him, Lexa!” Rocky patted his friend’s shoulder.

“Why aren’t any on you cheering for me?” I asked the fan boys and girls.

“You’re too bizarre! You’re girly! You need to be a gent!” a young adult bullied.

Thank you for the boost, them bullies. I’m not bizarre. I can finish this. I’ll win. They need to see that I can.

“Bizarre! Am I that bizarre to you! Well… I’ll just have to use a stronger special move.” I declared, “Ready Harpy! Special Move, SUMMERTIME HURRICANE!”

Yeah, the winds are blowing harder! It was making the stadium shake. No, everything shook. The fire was getting wilder too. Now, if I can get my Bey to win… I will surely get my wish.

“Ugh… Lexa, are you sure Arson Vulcan can stand in this?” Rocky asked his friend.

“I’m… I’m not sure!” Lexa cried out.

Ha! Fire is finally melting. At least a little. I’m not back in power yet though.

“LEXA, Don’t give up! “ The audience yelled.

“Listen to them,” Izza plead.

“No, you shouldn’t,” I persuaded, “I’ll be the lead again, and I will stay in it!”

“BOO! BOO!” the audience booed, “Lexa will still win!”

“Boo at me all you want, but, it will be me, I’m the winner. Then, you will all stop bullying me! Harpy get him!”

“Arson Vul, you get Harpy!” Lexa called, “Burn Baby Burn! Smoke Tornado!”

“Smoke tornado? Never seen that one… “I started to say until a big smoke cloud came through me.  I coughed at it.

        CLASH! CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!

        CLASH! CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!

        CLASH! CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!

        CLASH! CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!

        CLASH! CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!

        CLASH! CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!

“My fire is really sizzling now,” Lexa beamed, “I think we should stop this now. Here’s the finishing move!” Lexa announced, “Vulis, Special Move, Blazing Flame of Furry Finale!”

That move made everything outrageous!   The building vibrated! Fire was spreading up to my feet.,

I muttered, “No!  NO! This is too strong! Err...”

“Ha-ha-ha-ha,” Lexa cackled then hissed, “Yes…. Burn him! Burn my brother!”

Lexa was fiery with rage. An unstoppable rage. I knew this Lexa well. I hated this character of my brother’s the most.  How can I make my Bey overcome it? Harder winds.

“Ahhh…” I screamed, “Guardian Harpy ! Special Move, Summer Time Twister!”

Will that work? It sure is clearing away the madness.

        CLASH! Thud!

“Who Bey’s that,” Rocky asked.

“I don’t know. Still pretty Smokey though,” Izza answered itching his eyes.

“Don’t you see that? A line of smoke is peeking out and escaping, that’s your answer. I had won!” Lexa guessed.

“Or it could be the last of the twister, Lexa!” I hinted out loud.

“Last of the twister? Ha, that’ll have been long gone by now!” Lexa assumed, “That’s the last flame of my Bey’s fire!”

“Accept another lost, girly,” Izza nodded.

“You did manage to beat us,” Rocky added,

“That’s at least fair.”

“Lexa, you did do it!” The audience cried.

“Nothing is official yet!” I snapped at everyone.

And just as I said that, the very last area of craziness begins to fade away.  Everyone held their breath. This will reveal the winner. It grew silent… a silence of hope. Hope that Lexa had won, and everyone was certain he had. Except for me, I hoped to see that Harpy was still spinning. It is! It had to be! I needed to! Everyone will see my talents, not just my clothes. If not, I’d… I’d… oh; I just had to be running still.

At last, the result became visible. It astounded everyone.

“Lexa,Arson Vul, he’s still dancing!” Rocky wheezed.

“Yes, I see,” Lexa replied.

“Congrats! Lexa,” Izza breathed out giving his friend a hug.

“Aw… Ah… N-no…but…” I sniffed falling on my fours, “I- I… L-l-lost…” I gave out an enormous booming wale. Tears came falling from my face. I had been defeated... again.

“Lighten up, Kira,” Lexa called over, “I actually had a lot of fun battling you. Didn’t you?” I let out a sob for my answer.

“Geez, he really did want to when that bad,” Rocky gathered.

“Poor guy,” Izza grieved, “Lexa,”

“You know what? Let him weep! She can cry out a river all she wants!” Lexa barked.

“You’re right!” Izza obeyed, “All she wanted was us to stop calling her she.”

“Even if she had won, it doesn’t mean that others won’t stop mistreating her right?” Rocky enhanced.

“Right,” Lexa muttered under his breath, “If she wants people to stop, she must act like a he, not a she. He’ll get it memorized. He will. If not, we’ll move on to the next phase of this…”

“Lexa, come down!” fans cheered.

“C’mon, let’s greet our fans,” Lexa suggested leaping of the platform. His friends trailed behind.

“Yo, And how are you bladers?” Lexa greeted the crowd.

“Awesome!” they answered.

“Good to hear! Wasn’t that the best you’ve seen yet?” Lexa asked the fans again.

“You’re always good!” a mom yelled out.

“I love you better than Gingka!” A little boy said.

“Don’t know that guy,” Lexa admitted, “But thanks!”

“You teach my children things I couldn’t teach them,” another mom said shaking Rocky’s hand, “Well done.”

“Hey, Izza, up for a Q and A?” someone offered Izza.

“Sure. Anything,” Izza winked.

“If you had to take of a little brother, would you let him dress up in dresses?” was the question.

“Nope,” Izza chuckled, “Already have one, kind of…”

“So, who’ll battle Thriae  next?” Rocky asked everyone.

“You can go up against me and Golden Nessie!” someone challenged.

“No, Rocky, you should beat me! I have the Pirate Ao! It’s invincible to almost any move!”

A man shouted out.

“Rock Titan is a complicated Bey to beat.  It’s almost rare for me to lose!” A teen boomed.

“What a party,” I thought continuing to bawl.

I could hear everything that was going on low on the ground quite clearly.  Every word… every little word. It’s like I do not exist. Err… I stood up, up to my knees and started off to the side of the platform and held on to the bar.

“Bladers!” I called out with a growl.

“What does that girl want now?” Someone rolled away their eyes.

“He’s creeping me out, dad,” a three year old gulped.

“Don’t listen to that kid,” Lexa told everybody, “Kira is just getting attention, the woman’s way.”

“I am no WOMAN! I’m a boy! A different boy, but that’s okay!” I argued shaking off tears.

“Is not, girly boy!” someone argued back.

“Yeah,” agreed the others.

Then, they all burst out giggling, and pointed at me.  “You are a girl! A girly, girly, girly guy!” everyone sneered.

“Stop it! Stop! You’re wounding me!” I roared.

No one listened. Not even one person is sticking up for me, as always. What’s wrong with me? What I’m I do to? I’m growing utterly nauseous at this all. I’m losing my calm. I can’t think! I’m drowning in this chaos. I can’t bare it no more!

“LEXA!” I screamed out to my brother, “Help me!”

“Well, well, well,” Lexa answered my call turning and headed towards me, “I was starting to wonder when’d give up getting your peers to quit their actions toward you.”

“I still want them to stop!” I quaked.

“I know you do, Kira!” Lexa agreed then called to his buddies, “Izza, Rocky retrieve you’re Beys! It’s time!”

“Time for what?” I questioned sniffing.

“In order to stop the pain, we’ll need to put you to an end! Got it memorized?” Lexa said.

“Yeah, okay… “I accepted not really understanding what he really meant.

As long as this… this feeling of… anger and sadness rises away, I don’t care what it is!

“We have them,” Rocky reported as he and Izza walked up to him.

“Good. Now, launch them, into the stadium. Hurry!” Lexa demanded.

Rocky and Izza did what they were told yelling out, “Let It Rip!”

“Kira,” Lexa called up, “Are you hearing me!”

“Huh-uh, I can!” I responded without sensing what was really happening.

“Jump, Kira! Jump into the stadium! Think of freedom and being happy! Think… about, reuniting… reuniting with Ma and Pa!”

“Ma… Pa…” I inhaled.

I sure do miss Ma and Pa. They got killed in a car crash a few years ago. I recall it well…

Knock…knock…

“Who’s that?” Lexa grumbled getting up from the couch.

He answered the door to find a cop on the other side.

“Are you Lexa Hayama?” he asked with a serious glare.

“Sure am! Lexa replied.

“Sir, your parents… they were out grocery shopping, weren’t they?”

“Um… yeah, why are you asking?” Lexa asked getting worried.

“Is ma and pa hurt?” I guessed jumping right up from the kitchen table where I was just chilling out.

“I’m afraid so, little miss sunshine,” the police man nodded.

“Wha-what happened?” Lexa choked on his words. “They slid off the road and hit a tree. Men are still investigating the scene, so I can’t tell you exact details just yet. Your parents are at the hospital as we speak now, though. Grab your sister, and I’ll take you to them!”

“I’m his…” I tried to say.

Lexa closed my mouth shut and whispered, “Shush, Kira. You have no time to correct him! We need to go!”

And so we went off. It was only a few towns away. At the hospital though, we we’re greeted with unpleasant news. Our Ma and Pa weren’t with us anymore. They were dead. What did that mean?

Lexa just simply explained on our way outside, “Passing away, it means that, well, everyone has different ideas on the next land you visit, whatever that may be, it’s a more permanent home. And, we won’t get to see Ma and Pa until we die too someday.”

That made sense. Even though I’m only three now, I understand.

Afterward, was a good long week, a week full of gloom, and being blue. We attended the funeral for our parents, along with Rocky, Izza and other family and close buddies. Along with that, there was a lot of paperwork for Lexa to fill out. A lot! He told me it was guardian applications, and he was actually under aged to do it, but I would be sent to a foster home otherwise. Lexa would be too, except for a different one. My brother wanted us to stick together.

There were a lot of times I wished I was in a foster home. See, during this time, Lexa became more and more abusive of me because of my personality. I absorb all of it! I let it out by crying myself to sleep. Every night since, that very day, very depressing day when my parents left for that afterlife land! I cry out my anger of how one treats me. I cry about it all! It really troubles me…

Now, that Lexa was letting me go to this land, I won’t have to shed tears any longer. My eyes grew wide. I still could hear laughing, but it was so muffled now. I didn’t even feel like myself. I felt like a blank. And I had that appearance. I looked down at my landing target. Beys were spinning in it. Fast. Soon, I will be spinning too, spinning far away from this cruel world, really.

“One…two…three,” I counted bending my legs, “Let me rip!”

And just like that, I closed my eyes, and took a breath and dived toward my end.

My first Beyblade Fan-Fic

In case your wondering, yes, Lexa is based on Axel from Kingdom Hearts. The refernces are pretty obvious. Catch any of them?

I do NOT own Beyblade!
I do own Lexa, and no one else

I'll introduce my DNA OC's as well, but they don't come in yet.
